Janet was our hostess. She welcomed us with a pleasant greeting and sat us in a both immediately. Darlene greeted us with a welcoming smile and took our drink and meal order. The drinks came instantly and the meal came soon after the drink order. The food was served seemingly right off the grill. The meals were hot and delicious. The price, if matched with the quality of food and service, should be increased. It was A very good meal and service at a price to be enjoyed. If you haven't experienced Wimpy Dees, I suggest you change that, and enjoy the friendly professional women and men and great food you are sure to find at Wimpy Dees.

I withheld review to give this place a real chance.. This was my third and last time here. First time the fries tasted of old dirty oil. I told the management. They didn't offer any discount. Second time was the same type of thing. Food just doesn't taste great. Third time I ordered the special, potroast. It was pretty good I'll admit, but the coke I ordered didn't taste like coke, instead tasted like a cheap knock off. I don't drink a lot of soda, but when I do order it I expect it to be carbonated and taste like coke, neither was the, case. I told the waitress and she suggested something else as there seemed to be a problem with the coke. I asked for root beer. Same problem! I also ordered fries because I forgot the 1st time but thought I would try again. Nope, same thing, and there were months between first and last visits. Still, nobody offered any discounts. I read in their menu that they went through a lot of trouble shipping this diner from Texas and named it after family members... I would have expected a lot more for all that effort. Also, BTW... I just noticed there are cameras everywhere. They must have saw I was writing this review because I've been interrupted twice with concern if everything is OK. I turned around and bam... Camera looking right at my phone screen. They should sell this place and let someone else have a crack at it.
